This functionality is already built-in to Outlook 2007 (and earlier versions of Outlook).

To send an e-mail at a future date/time in Outlook 2007:

  • Create a new e-mail message
  • Click the "Options" tab
  • Click the "Delay Delivery" button
  • On the "Message Options" window, verify "Do not deliver before" is checked and fill in an appropriate future date/time
  • Click the "Close" button
  • Compose the message as normal and click "Send"
  • The e-mail message will sit in your "Outbox" until it is time for delivery

Verious, you're totally correct, this is a built in functionality of Outlook. The difference between the out-of-the-box feature and this add-in is that the addin schedules the send automatically to a certain time and saves you the time you would have spent in order to define it.
